Live broadcast. IP networks. Market analysis.
Always at the edge. Always operational.
I am Piotr Pawel Wacek — a Senior Broadcast Engineer with over 25 years of hands-on field experience at the intersection of audio/video technology, IP infrastructure and real-time signal distribution on a global scale. A career built entirely in the field, event by event, signal by signal.
My journey has evolved through every major technological shift: from analogue to digital broadcast, IP networks, streaming, satellite and fibre transport. I have carried signals worldwide across all continents, working alongside extraordinary professionals and teams — learning from every challenge, every live event, every unexpected problem solved under pressure.
The chapter I am most proud of: years working alongside the extraordinary engineers and professionals of Vatican Media and EBU/Eurovision — covering Papal trips with Pope Francis across Mongolia, Fatima, Budapest, Baku, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Kraków, Athens and many other capitals, including the Papal flight. Sharing those missions with such a dedicated, passionate team was a privilege I carry with me. Among the other recognitions along the way: a Certificate of Appreciation from the White House Communications Agency for communications support during a U.S. Vice President state visit to Rome.
Philosophy: I have always thrived on first versions, unstable systems, unsolved problems. Where others wait, I dive in — learning by doing, breaking and rebuilding. This applies to technology, market analysis, and everything that comes next.
Awarded for outstanding support to the Vice President of the United States during his state visit to Rome — recognised for critical communications support provided to the VP, White House Staff and the U.S. Secret Service.
Interesting projects, colleagues with the same passion and dedication, real commitment — and there must always be a bit of fun and adventure along the way.
From Eurovision to Fatima, from Rome's Olimpico to Ulaanbaatar — a life built at the heart of global broadcast operations.
Over the last two years, through deep collaboration with AI systems, I have built profound expertise in independent market analysis — options operativity, variance, regime and structure — that would have taken a decade through conventional means.
I have always believed that real learning happens at the edge of stability — with first versions, unstable betas, uncharted territory.
When AI arrived, I did not wait for it to mature. I dove in immediately and used it as a force multiplier — to go beyond the limits of formal education, explore options markets and variance dynamics.
Two years of AI collaboration have produced exponential personal and professional growth. Not because AI did the work — but because it became my thinking partner.
Where technology meets creativity. Using AI as a creative partner to produce content, explore ideas and push boundaries — from market insights to cultural reflections.
Why using the correct volatility reference is the difference between informed decisions and noise. A key concept in options operativity and market analysis.
The dark age of limitations is behind us. We are entering the Renaissance of AI — a new era of human creativity amplified by artificial intelligence, available to everyone.
A new exploration at the frontier of AI-generated content — where technology becomes a creative tool for storytelling and expression.
Pushing the boundaries of AI-assisted production — combining broadcast expertise with the creative power of artificial intelligence.
A curated space where I collect the most interesting sites, tools and resources at the intersection of broadcast, live events and artificial intelligence. Updated continuously.
Tools, platforms and projects I personally use and recommend. Selected for their quality and relevance to broadcast technology, AI and market intelligence.
